The current trends in the use of collaborative robots look promising, particularly with regard to laser welding. Cobots of the latest generation are smart, equipped with many sensors and respond to the voice commands of operators, enabling safer working together while at the same time increasing productivity. The incorporation of laser welding technologies together with cobot capabilities permits manufacturers to optimize their operations and improve product quality by shortening cycle times. As industrial trends change, to remain suitable within the market and to serve the requirements of the current era co-robotic laser welding becomes one of the key technologies.
